Our History
Our roots go back to the mid-1980’s when Joel Peterson began making investments in early-stage / smaller companies. Joel and his partner, Jordan Clements, soon turned this business into Peterson Partners, a private equity firm focused on partnership opportunities with profitable, growing companies with revenues greater than $10 million. While Joel spent significant time building the private equity business, he never lost his passion for partnering with talented entrepreneurs in earlier stage ventures. Joel recently organized this prior ad hoc investing into Peterson Ventures, which is entirely separate from Peterson Partners in focus.
